Application note

In this application note, we present the successful replacement of a damaged PMT (Products for Research Inc.) with the advanced GigaIE-Intense Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM) in a Raman spectrometer setup. The GigaIE-Intense sensor was seamlessly integrated with the monochromator SPEX 1403, and to ensure precise performance, custom-made software was programmed to synchronize the monochromator positioning and light intensity measurement. Leveraging the state-of-the-art GigaIE-Intense photomultiplier, the experimental setup was able to obtain accurate and reliable Raman spectra with ease.
